Principal owner Douglas Bramley started his restaurant career at 14 years old, as a dishwasher at a Mexican restaurant called Casa Lupita in Warwick, Rhode Island. Over the years he worked his way through the kitchens, bars and dining rooms of a disparate group of establishments.
After helping open the Middle Eastern hot spot Opa on Federal Hill in Providence he settled in Manhattan as a manager with The Orsay Group. Douglas later moved on to positions with The Beatrice Inn and served as General Manager of Spasso in the West Village and The Broken Spoke Rotisserie in Murray Hill.
Moving back to Southern Rhode Island Douglas served as Manager and Wine and Beverage Director of the famous Matunuck Oyster Bar and the Director of Operations for the Charlestown Rathskeller, A live Music and Events venue just inland from Charlestown Beach.
